Q: How do I register?

Q: What is your refund policy?
Camp Spin Off offers a full refund for the tuition fee anytime prior to July 1st. No refunds are available after July 1st. Exceptions due to medical or family emergencies will be made on a case by case basis with proper documentation.
Q: Can I separate my registration into multiple payments?
A: Yes, we offer payment arrangements. The full Camp Tuition is due no later than July 1st. For more information, visit the Payment Plan page or contact [email protected]
Q: My friend and I are both attending camp – can we be in the same cabin?
A: Yes! When you register you can request a cabin mate.
Q: What are check in and pick up times?
A: If you are dropping off or picking up your camper directly to Camp Spin Off please do so during the designated times:
Q: Do you provide transportation to Camp?
A: Ground Transportation from Los Angeles is available as a part of your tuition. More information about the 2 pick-up/drop-off locations can be found in the Travel Information section.
Q: I have dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate?
A: Yes, you will be able to list out any dietary restrictions or allergies in the registration form.
Q: What are the sleeping arrangements?
A: Campers sleep in fully air-conditioned cabins with 8 or less campers and 1-2 Camp Counselors. Cabins are arranged by gender. Bunk beds have a padded mattress. View camp housing page for more info.
Q: Do I have to bring a sleeping bag?
A: You can bring whatever bedding you prefer (sheets, comforter, pillow), but a sleeping bag is highly recommended.
Q: Are there private bathrooms?
A: There is one bathroom with a toilet and shower to share amongst your cabin mates. There are communal stall bathrooms and showers available adjacent to the cabins.
Q: Are there plugs in the bathroom for hairdryers?
A: Yes
Q: What is the weather like?
A: It gets VERY hot in the Ojai Valley during the day, and chilly at night. Make sure to have plenty of shorts for the daytime and a sweatshirt for night.
Q: What kind of shoes should I wear?
A: The camp has dirt roads, grass and woodchips. We would not advise fancy shoes. Definitely make sure that you have shoes you can hike in if you’re interested in exploring!
Q: Are there bugs?
A: Yes, but not an alarming amount of bugs. Insect repellent is recommended.
