Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, DJ Tina T started her DJ career at the age of 15. After studying music marketing and ultimately graduating from Washington State University with a Bachelors degree in marketing, she took the leap and moved to Los Angeles to continue her dream of becoming a professional DJ. Within weeks, she became a finalist in the DJ battle hosted by the #1 hip-hop radio station POWER 106 FM, and the world famous Big Boy in the Morning Show. But it was her victory as LA Weekly’s first ever DJ Spin Off battle that Tina T took home the gold.
After moving to Las Vegas in 2008, Tina quickly gained recognition in some of the most high profile clubs in the country.With over 18 years of dues paid, she has rocked crowds in some of the hottest night clubs all over the world including the Bahamas, Philippines, Canada, Singapore and Mexico.
She has toured all over the United States and been featured on TV and in commercials for VH1’s Master Of The Mix, Red Bull, Verizon, DJ Hero and Seagate, MTV’s The Hills, E! News, The Travel Channel, Fuel TV.
Tina T founded Camp Spin Off in 2009 as a way to merge her love of music and DJing with childhood memories from summer camp, love for nature and how the combination was life changing during her teenage years.
Tina’s main focus is helping young girls build confidence to pursue male dominated industries and bridge the gap between motivated youth, companies who can support the next generation of DJs and giving scholarship opportunities to less the fortunate.
